Dr. Sheik Ibrahim Jibril (SIJ) Pays Heartfelt Condolence Visit to ADC Vice Presidential Candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, Over Mother’s Demise
Dr. Sheik Ibrahim Jibril (SIJ), House of Representatives Aspirant for the Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), today paid a heartfelt condolence visit to His Excellency Rotimi Amaechi, the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, following the passing of his beloved mother.
The visit reflected Dr. Jibril’s deep sense of compassion, empathy, and commitment to standing with others in moments of grief. He expressed his sincere condolences to Amaechi and his family, praying that Almighty Allah forgives the shortcomings of the deceased, grants her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and blesses the bereaved family with patience, strength, and unwavering faith during this difficult period.
Dr. Jibril noted that the loss of a mother is one of life’s greatest pains, describing mothers as pillars of unconditional love, sacrifice, guidance, and constant prayers. He emphasized that although death is an inevitable part of life, the noble values and lasting legacy left behind by righteous parents continue to inspire generations.
Quoting the Holy Qur’an, he reminded mourners of Allah’s promise:
“Indeed, to Allah we belong, and indeed, to Him we shall return.” (Qur’an 2:156)
He concluded by praying that Almighty Allah envelop the departed soul in His infinite mercy, forgive her shortcomings, expand and illuminate her grave, grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and strengthen His Excellency Rotimi Amaechi and the entire Amaechi family with patience and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
